Kyler’s new arrival…
Kyler’s new arrival made it safe and sound on thursday, july 17th, weighing in at only a few ounces. you should have seen how cute it was, all swaddled in shrink wrap and nestled tightly in a cardboard box. artist and CD are resting soundly as they have many exciting days ahead of them!
i’m such a goof! really, sometimes you do feel like your music is your child. you go through this intense cocooning period in the studio, putting so much of yourself into the songs. you worry if you’re doing the right thing, keeping its best interests at heart. you wonder what it will finally be like on the day that it arrives, and you await that day with joy and anxiety. then one day it bursts forth for the whole world to see and you’re so proud of it you want to share it with everyone!
i guess i’m feeling like a proud mother in these last days before the album’s release. i got the shipment this thursday and i have to say it looks and sounds amazing. i’m so thrilled with how this record came out, i want the whole world to hear it!!!
